Demonstrating mastery of a broad range of investment skills
We are pleased to announce that Tyler Bosgraaf, a Research Analyst with Norris, Perné & French, has passed Level II of the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) program. The CFA exam is administered by CFA Institute, a global association of investment professionals that promotes the highest standards of ethics, education, and professional excellence.
The CFA program includes three courses of study, each of which requires passing a six-hour exam. Worldwide, nearly 47,000 candidates took the Level II exam in June 2015 – and Tyler is one of just 46 percent who passed it. He plans to take the Level III exam the next time it is offered, in June 2016. Upon passing the Level III exam and completing the program’s four-year investment-industry work requirement, he could be awarded the CFA charter.
CFA charterholders must also sign a commitment to abide by the CFA Institute Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct.
Fewer than one in five candidates who begin the CFA program end up finishing it. Upon completion of the program, Tyler will join four other CFA charterholders at Norris Perné & French – partners Kurt Arvidson, Chad Dutcher, and Jay Wisentaner; and senior research analyst Dan Lupo. We believe this achievement is another testament to the firm’s leadership in professional excellence and integrity.
